St Lawrence’s Church of England Primary School, including our much‑loved Little Lawrences provision, is seeking a Level 3 Early Years Educator to join our thriving Early Years. Work collaboratively within a caring, experienced Early Years team

Hours: 32.5 hrs per week, Monday–Friday 8.30am to 3.30pm, term-time only | Fixed-Term basis

Pay: NJC F7-10 hourly rate ranging from £13.68 to £14.58 and benefiting from school hours and Local Authority pension.

Part-time Cleaner

10 hours per week, term time only

start as soon as possible

The successful candidate, directed by our Caretaker will provide and maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the school including classrooms, toilets and communal areas. We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working individual who wants a job that is both challenging and rewarding. Flexibility, a sense of humour and pride in your work will be essential qualities needed to fulfil this important role.

St Lawrence’s is a vibrant, community-minded village school in a beautiful rural setting. We are looking for a candidate with a child-centred, nurturing approach and excellent communication skills who is keen to join a friendly, encouraging and dedicated staff team, headed by a supportive Senior Leadership Team.

Contract Length: The post will be permanent and commence as soon as possible

Working Hours: 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday in term time (39 weeks). Just before or just after the school day. Flexibility required.

Salary: NJC A1-2 hourly rate £12.65

Qualifications: Previous experience is not essential, as full training will be given. It is essential that you are capable of regular stooping, bending, lifting, and carrying of equipment, materials, and furniture.

No formal qualifications required, though literacy and numeracy skills required to be able to read instructions and work out simple measurements

Able to operate equipment and use materials
Understands and can work to procedures, follow straightforward instructions and read labels
Can understand and operate within regulations
Can identify straightforward solutions to simple problems, eg improving working methods, rearranging cleaning schedules
Can exchange straightforward information with colleagues and users
