You may have heard that the government are planning to launch a scheme that offers 30 hours free preschool childcare to working parents from September 2017.
Little Lawrences are planning to offer 30 hours free childcare to eligible families from September 2017, and we welcome applications.
Parents who are not eligible to claim 30 hours free childcare will still be able to claim 15 hours universal childcare as before.
When you can start claiming
The date you can start claiming depends on your child’s birthday.

|1 January to 31 March||The beginning of term on or after 1 April|
|1 April to 31 August||The beginning of term on or after 1 September|
|1 September to 31 December||The beginning of term on or after 1 January|

You’ll need to apply online to access the scheme at https://childcare-support.tax.service.gov.uk/par/app/applynow. If you’re eligible you’ll be given an 11 digit ‘eligibility code’ for your child
Bring the code, along with:
- your National Insurance number
- your date of birth and
- your child’s date of birth, into the school office and we can process the claim for you.
You’ll need to apply the term before you wish to access the funding, so if you’d like to claim this funding next term, you’ll need to apply NOW!
